Disney Interactive Media Group announced that the upcoming Pixar feature film Brave will be receiving a tie-in videogame. Brave: The Video Game will be released for just about every platform as it’s being developed for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS as well as Windows and Mac.
In Brave: The Video Game you will be able to take on the role of Merida and other cast members from the film as you play the single-player or co-operatively with friends and family which includes a bear mode allowing a player to play alongside Merida as a bear. The game will also include exclusive Kinect and Playstation Move features where gamers will be immersed and feel like they are using a bow and arrow in an archery range.
The third person action-adventure will expand beyond the movie’s storyline as they go on quests in the magical world while solving puzzles to unlock hidden secrets. I don’t know about you but if Brave: The Video Game follows on from a similar trend to Toy Story 3: The Video Game you will be in for a treat as I found the game to be one of the best co-op movie-to-video game adaptations out there.
